O.C. Update
The orange cat is doing much better. Steroids worked for Barry Bonds, and they are working for Dewey as well. He eats constantly throughout the day, and while he still prefers to sit quietly, rather than run around like he used to, he's being more social and mobile than he was this time last week. He's no longer hiding in the basement among baby stuff, but instead hangs out on his futon down there, or upstairs in Buster's closet or on the rocker. It's such a relief to see him feeling better, even though we don't know how long to expect this to last. At least he appears to be comfortable and relatively happy. Millie is searching for a new friend, and has turned her attention to a black cat in the neighborhood who comes around at night. She'll run from window to window to follow it, and sit at the screen door staring at it. Things are much better on the homefront right now, and we're hoping they'll stay that way for awhile!
