Last weekend Dave threw me a surprise 30th birthday party, although I still have a week until my twenties are behind me. I thought we were headed to Amy's house for a Christmas party, but it turned out to be a gathering of our parents and friends. It was really nice to hang out with everyone and eat yummy desserts. Thanks to Amy and Chad for being great hosts!
After work today my colleagues threw me a surprise baby shower. I was overwhelmed by the number of people and gifts. I can honestly say that we don't need anything else. We have more than enough of everything! Thank you to everyone for your thoughtfulness and generosity!
Dave and I are very fortunate to have so many special people in our lives, that we're friends with, related to, or work with. I'm not so sure how we got so lucky, but we are thankful!
