9 1/2 month Update

So it's been awhile. And a lot has been going on. Most importantly, Wilson started crawling a few weeks ago, and the fun factor has multiplied exponentially. We hurried to babyproof what was left of the house, but Wilson finds new things on a daily basis that we have to hide/move/put away. Millie has become a lot faster on her paws in attempting to escape the mobile maniac. Wilson is thrilled beyond belief that he can get anywhere on the first floor he wants. He moves from room to room, following toys and voices, and is just having a ball. He has also started to pull up on even taller objects, including chairs, entertainment centers, staircases and in the middle of the night earlier in the week his crib. That was not so fun for us.

We visited with Mima and Grandpa in Maine for Columbus Day weekend and Grandma and Pop in New York the weekend after that. These were all non-stop trips as Wilson will sleep the entire drive if he's not interrupted. Wilson eschewed his mother's vegetarianism and became a carnivore upon turning nine months old. He's also added yogurt and all sorts of finger foods to his diet and is quite pleased with being able to feed himself. God bless the pincer grasp. There were not supposed to be any shots at his nine month doctor visit, but unfortunately it's flu season and we feel better with more protection. I don't remember all his stats, but I know he's at the 20th percentile for weight, 40th percentile for height, and 80th percentile for head circumference. I love his big, bald head!!!

I'll work on posting some of our recent pictures soon.
