We are a little delayed in passing along our greetings. After being in New York for such a long time it's taking us all awhile to adjust and fall back into our routines. We had a fantastic time, made even more special by having Wilson around. We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning in Kingston with the Quicks. Wilson got to spend time with his friend Luke and hang out with Grandma and Pop. We started a new tradition of reading The Polar Express and The Night Before Christmas on the night of the 24th, as well as taking a walk around the neighborhood to enjoy all the lights. Wilson really enjoyed opening his gifts the next morning and then again that evening at Mima and Grandpa's upstate. As everyone told us, he was much more interested in the bows, ribbons, paper, boxes, etc. than the actual gifts. We then spent the next several days visting friends and family, upstate and down, as well as in Massachusetts. The adults had lots of fun playing Mima's new Wii. Dave and I got to go see Wicked which was fantastic! New Year's Eve was spent with friends from college, as has been the tradition for the past few years. However, this was the first time with babies present. They had fun playing, but missed out on the kissing and champagne at midnight. All in all, it was a wonderful vacation and holiday experience. We're now gearing up for the birthday party of the decade and can hardly believe it's been a year since our lives were transformed for the better.
