Easter in the Empire State

We enjoyed a lovely Easter in New York with all the Callahans and Quicks. It was so much more fun than last year when we stayed at home. The weather was absolutely beautiful and Wilson had so much fun playing with his cousins all weekend long. The Easter Bunny even knew he was staying at Mima's and delivered the perfect basket, complete with books and treats. Aunt Caitlin's color-coded egg hunt was also a success and had a little something for everyone - Wilson got to keep the money and we ate the chocolate! The tradition of Grandpa's one-day-a-year of cooking continued with lobster and mussles for dinner. Unfortunately, the tradition of ridiculous traffic on the Mass Pike Sunday night continued as well, making us reconsider ever going back to NY for the holiday again without taking Monday off!
