It's been a busy month and we're not quite caught up with all that went on. We headed down to Florida for five days to visit Dave's grandparents and aunt. It was so nice to be with family we hadn't seen in over a year. We also enjoyed the sun and warmth and wearing summer clothing in November! Wilson had a great time. He especially enjoyed hanging out with PaPa and riding on the golf cart. We went to a fabulous playground by the water. The combination of a sunny day and good music made it a very fun time. Another highlight was picking oranges off a tree in the backyard. Wilson was really into it and they were absolutely delicious. It doesn't get any fresher than that! The next time we return there will be another one of us and we'll have to buy 3 tickets for the plane!
We went home to New York for Thanksgiving and had a really wonderful time with our families. Dave and Caitlin participated in their 4th Annual Turkey Trot. One of these years I will join them! Wilson was able to partake in the entire spread at Thanksgiving dinner this year, but his favorite eats of the day were egg nog and wasabi peas. Go figure! You can guess how well we were eating last week when I share that his newest words include "pie" and "M&Ms." :)
