We had SO much fun with Halloween yesterday! After a brief scare in the morning that Wilson wasn't going to put his costume on after "hooting" at it in the closet for weeks, he didn't want to take it off, which was fine by us. He sported original owl couture a la Mima and Mama and looked absolutely adorable. We had a great time greeting trick-or-treaters at our door and even more fun walking around the neighborhood. Wilson got the hang of candy collecting fairly quickly, and tried to cut some of our conversations with the neighbors short so that he could get back in the wagon and head to the next stop. At one house where Dave was being particularly chatty, Wilson walked back to the wagon and then turned around and headed back to the house, trying to get more candy out of the bowl. I guess his reasoning that if you're around long enough to take two turns you go for it wasn't completely unsound!
