Wilson made his first trek to the Callahan Compound in Maine over the long weekend. Daddy had to work and prepare for his final class presentation, so we left him at home and headed north. The trip did not start off so well as I locked us out of the truck at a gas station in Maine (it's a long story!). Luckily, Grandpa was making his way up to Maine at the same time, and was in the same vicinity, so he and AAA both came to rescue us. The remainder of the weekend was smooth-sailing and quite enjoyable after that! Wilson saw the ocean for the first time, but may have been too distracted by all the wind to really appreciate it. We had a great time with Aunt Caitlin, Mima, Grandpa, Aunt Jean and Uncle Harvey. Hopefully this was just the first of many trips to Maine we'll be making this summer.
