Aquarium

Grandma and Pop took a bus trip into Boston yesterday, and we drove down to the city so we could visit with them and take Wilson to the New England Aquarium. The aquarium happened to be a big hit. Wilson absolutely LOVED everything there was to look at! He typically either stared in wonder or vocalized his excitement very loudly. He did extremely well in keeping up with the penguins' loud bickering. Wilson seemed to really like the big tank and all the different creatures there were to see inside. He wasn't scared of the shark one bit! :) It'll be fun to go back next year when he can play in the exploratory exhibit. We just weren't ready to let him loose with all sorts of small sea life that may have quickly found their way to his mouth. In addition to the aquarium, Wilson got to ride on a carousel, which he didn't really like until he discovered a mirror and just stared at that for the duration of the ride. We also happened upon a marijuana festival as we were strolling through the common. It must have been the contact high that put him to sleep in the stroller! All in all it was a great day with gorgeous fall weather and fun company.
