Fall Fun

On Saturday we headed north to our favorite orchard to pick apples. This place is better than others close by because of the whole experience associated with the picking of the apples. The tractor ride out to the trees is a lot of fun, the warm cider donuts they make on-site are yummy (made even better smothered in the cinnamon and sugar mixture that Dave brings along!), and the live acoustic music makes for a festive atmosphere. Standing in long lines to pay for everything, however, was not fun. Apparently given the time of year and the gorgeous weather, we weren't the only family that had this genius idea. It was still fun, and we unexpectedly ran into friends (the same ones that introduced us to the place last fall) up there which made it even better. We now have the pleasure of eating all these delicious apples and making all our favorite apple treats. It's even better that Wilson can eat apples too!

I have to ask. Does Wilson smile as soon as you take the camera out of the bag or do you have to point it at him before he smiles?

Cute!!
