Despite getting off to a rough start, we had such a fun day yesterday hanging out with Wyatt and his 'rents. We woke up with the sun to get an early start only to discover that Dave's truck had been broken in to overnight (along with several other neighbors' vehicles). This drama caused him to forget his hiking shoes and get off the wrong exit to meet our friends, but it all worked out in the end. We hiked The Flume up in the White Mountains of NH. The boys were so well behaved and excited to see and hear the many waterfalls along our hike. They did a great job sharing snacks and toys with each other, and for the first time seemed to really enjoy each other's company. It was a lot fun to observe. We also ate a great meal at the Woodstock Inn Brewery and then watched the USA, unfortunately, lose their World Cup game. It was such a fun day with great friends - a perfect way to begin the summer!
