Well, we've been very busy during the past month and in thinking about it, have been in every state in New England during out travels. We started out in Maine for July 4th weekend and had a great time with Mima and Grandpa. The weather was really hot so we spent a lot of time outside by the ocean, Wilson in his blow-up pool and us in the Adirondack chairs. Wilson and I have stayed busy in New Hampshire while Dave has been working on the house. We visited a science museum, went to a splash park, and have done our regular storytime and playground activities.
We just spent a long weekend in Vermont for the Wilson family reunion with my mother's side of the family. It was great to see relatives that we sometimes only see every two years at this event. Wilson had a blast with all the kids and received so much attention that it was probably boring for him to return home to our quiet house.
During the week Wilson and I drove down to Old Saybrook, CT to visit with some of my friends from graduate school. Wilson had fun with Emma and Tess and loved being by the water again. It was so good to catch up with Lisa and Abbey!
Dave and I spent the night in Boston over the weekend while Wilson stayed home with Grandma and Pop. I think we all enjoyed ourselves! It was our first Red Sox game of the season, and our first night away from Wilson together. It was sad and exciting at the same time.
