Summer vacation is over and I'm back to work. Wilson is loving his days with Daddy again, as well as his occasional trips to the sitter's. I really enjoyed my time with him and hate settling for nights and weekends!
August brought us even more traveling and adventures. Wilson and I went blueberry picking. He did well at first, actually plucking the berries off the bushes, but then he realized it was more fun to eat, and he emptied his bucket before starting on mine. Maybe next year he'll help contribute to the yield. Wilson spent a weekend with Aunt Cait while Dave and I headed to New Jersey for a good friend's wedding. While in New York, Wilson went to his cousin Chelsea's first birthday party and to Saratoga (to ride on the carousel ponies, not bet on the real ones at the track). Dave and I ate and drank our way through a fun weekend with friends who we don't see often enough. In mid-August we spent a week in Maine with my brother and his family. Wilson absolutely loved being with his cousins and having a full house. I think he was really lonely and bored when we left.
We're looking forward to much more fun this fall, and hopefully cooler temps and less humidity soon. Maybe I'll actually update this thing before 2011!
