Overdue - Day #4

The answer is still "No," Buster has not yet arrived! I keep saying that the baby is taking after Dave in not living up to his surname, but Dave keeps saying that the baby is taking after me and being stubborn. :) At our doctor appt. this morning I was no more dilated than I was this time last week. She offered to induce me on Thursday, but I want to avoid that if at all possible. So, we'll go back on Friday (if necessary, hopefully not!) for an ultrasound and a fluid check (sounds like what you'd have done to your car!) to make sure the womb is still a healthy living place for Buster. Things still look good, and she agreed that it's best to try to let things happen naturally. She was worried I would be impatient (I am!) and demand an induction like her other overdue patients who she described as having " loaded oozies in their purses." This doctor is on-call Thursday, and said she expects me to go into labor between 1 and 5am, so we're hoping she's right. We'll see how long this plays out for...
