Daddy Daycare: Open for Business

Yesterday I returned to work, and Wilson got to stay home with dad for the entire day. That's how Monday was supposed to work, but we had a snowstorm Sunday night, so there was no school on Monday. It was a little hard leaving, especially since Wilson was still asleep, but it was great to be greeted by his giggling face when I returned home last night. Apparently everything went well, and it sounds like Will slept for most of the day. My goal for today is to not call home as often to check up on them! Tomorrow I drop Will off at the babysitter's in the morning, and we're hoping that goes smoothly.

In other news, we've been really curious about how much Wilson weighs now, so I finally got on the scale with him this past weekend. It seems that he's up to 12 pounds! He's gotten way too tall/long for most of his newborn and 0-3 mos. outfits, so he's been sporting the 3 mos. clothes, which allow his legs to stretch out, but are really baggy around his midsection and long in the arms. I told him we'll have to hire a personal tailor to outfit him properly! We're excitedly preparing for our trip home to NY this weekend. Since Dewey passed we've been bringing Millie with us when we travel there, and that was a lot of work to get all of her things packed. Now with Wilson in the mix we've really got our work cut out for us!
