Wilson has had a very busy couple of weeks. We made our first unexpected visit to the doctor's office. Wilson developed some raspy breathing and a cough just after we returned from NY. Luckily it wasn't too bad and has basically resolved itself. We then celebrated St. Patrick's Day with friends and he got to hang out with his buddy Wyatt again. We had a fabulous feast with some traditional Irish favorites like cornbeef and cabbage and Irish soda bread, and then some other goodies like Guinness mac and cheese, Guinness brownies, and Guinness ice cream. And there was also plain Guinness! The next day we celebrated Daddy's birthday and then the day after that Wilson had to return to the doctor for his two-month well-visit and his first round of shots. Oh my! Luckily I had to work and missed all the wailing. Dave said he wasn't sure I would have been able to handle it! Wilson had a slight reaction to the shot in one of his thighs when it got red, hot and swollen, but it died down in a few hours. He basically just slept through the day, as you can see in the picture above. He remains in the 50th percentile for height/length (23 inches) and weight (11.8 pounds), and at the 60th percentile for head circumference (can't remember the number!). He is a growing boy and everything has been going really well. He is enjoying his days at home with Dad. They have dance parties, story time, cuddle time, and, from what it sounds like, lots of fun!
